What is NATA?
NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is organize by the Council of Architecture. This is a national-level entrance exam, conducted to offer admission to various architecture colleges across the country. Numbers of government, private, and deemed institutions considered the NATA score card for admitting students in their B.Arch. courses.
Revision in dates of Second and Third Tests of NATA 2022
It has been decided by the competent authority of the Council of Architecture that the Second and Third Tests of NATA 2022 examination shall now be held on July 7, 2022 and August 7, 2022 instead of earlier scheduled dates of July 3 & July 24, 2022. The date of First NATA Test scheduled to be held on June 12, 2022 remains unchanged. Candidates who have passed the Class 12th examination and fulfil NATA 2022 Eligibility can fill out the application form till May 23, 2022, for Test 1. The last date to fill out NATA Application Form 2022 for test 2 and test 3 is June 20 and July 11, 2022, respectively.

How to prepare for NATA?
NATA is different from other entrance tests in the sense that, unlike other entrance tests, NATA Syllabus judges the aptitude of candidates
- This makes it essential for candidates to practice NATA Previous year question papers and the syllabus of 10th and 12th classes.
- Candidates should start giving online tests to improve their time management while giving the exam.
- Make a proper schedule and start solving questions from the 10th and 12th books to ensure that your basics are good. This will also enable you to attempt difficult questions in the exam.
- Learn from the resources available online and make your own notes for revision.

NATA exam date consists of details of the application, admit card, exam, result dates, and more. Since NATA is conducted thrice this year – separate dates are released for the three attempts. Candidates are advised to regularly check NATA 2022 exam dates so that no events are missed out.
